Will RAK4631 support FOTA? If yes how to do?
Will WisDM platform supports RAK4631? What is the process of adding device to it. How FOTA and Fleet management? Does it depends on the firmware what we have written?
RAK4631 with RUI3 bootloader will support FUOTA. But it is still work in progress.
FUOTA process will depend on the LoRaWAN server. Some servers provide a FUOTA interface, some require an external service to do it.
WisDM is for gateways, it is not a LoRaWAN server or management tool for end nodes.
What did you use to write your firmware?
If you used nRF SDK, you have to integrate FUOTA functionality by yourself, we cannot help.
If you use RUI3, please wait for the official release of this service. It will require a different BSP version, the flash memory segmentation is different for firmware that supports FUOTA.
I’m still confused regarding WisDM. Do we need to provide separate server address for this?
I’m not using LoRa. Will it be possible to do FOTA using cellular?
WisDM is hosted by us. You get an account, register your gateways in WisDM and can remote control them.
I have created an account and it asking for server address for network configuartion. but I’m not having any server address for LoRa since I’m not using it. How can I proceed next
I am not familiar with WisDM, I barely used it in the past.
