Configuration Issue - Serial port mostly busy

Issue:Configuration Issue - Serial port mostly busy

Setup: RAK5205 with Ubuntu, and cutecom as serial port

Server:TTN

Details:
After I updated the last command i put in before ‘the message below keeps scrolling’ was alt+join. I think I may of made a EUI error and want to retype or check my input. However the text below keeps scrolling, so its quite difficult to see if the at commands are getting through. How do I stop this scrolling? It was the same behavior when i used the RAK Windows tool.

Hi @bvt ,

I am not exactly sure what you mean with keeps scrolling.

If you say that you continuously see those text on Serial terminal, it appears that the module is continuously restarts.

Few things to try:

  1. Remove the battery first and just power the device via USB (maybe something wrong with battery?)
  2. Replace USB cable (maybe something wrong with cable?)
  3. Try different USB port/PC?

thank you Carl,

Number 3, different USB Port on my computer may of been the issue, yes, the scrolling of that text could mean that it is continuously restarting, I hope the new port
