Disable default OLED script

Looking for some advice on disabling the default OLED script from Rakpios.
I’ve been experimenting with the OLED and displaying my own stats on screen, but the default script that comes packaged with Rakpios is interfering.

Is there a way to disable the default script without building my own RakpiOS?

The script is triggered from the etc/rc.local file. You can comment it out there.
