ESP32 - "factory reset"

Hi,

I’m working with the ESP32 module and have some firmware written for it. I can update the configuration (stored with preferences.h on NVT).
I can configure this via a web interface and all of this is really cool, but!

I would like to make sure i can secure this, so a username/password on the website would be used. Then… what if i loose that?

So, what i’m looking for is a way to ‘reset’ the settings on the NVT from outside. The base board has one button, which resets it. Is there a way to do a long press? Or some kind of trigger to reset the NVT?

The reset button goes directly to the reset pin of the ESP32 module
