Frequency plan vs distance

Dear all,
I have a concern about if frequency effected to distance? Example 433MHZ vs 923Mhz?
Can I change rak2247 433MHZ to working with 923MHZ? Such as flashing firmware again?

In theory 433 might have a slight physical advantage but in practice the regulatory regime for 923 tends to offer more options.

It’s not just a question of radio physics, but of what you are allowed to do.
