Gateway and server DISCONNECTED issue

Issue: TTN still disconnected to Rakpi Gateway

Setup: Using Rak2245 and Raspi 3

Server: Private TTN

Details: I can not find the cause of issue. I configured necessary files, connected it to same network, added to TTN. Looked for other fault variables. Still disconnected.

Do you have your Gateway logs and/or TTN logs with the problem happening?

Regards,

Claudio

is there anything here we could use as a lead?

Good morning,

I am not seeing the disconnection problem in this gateway log. Do you have a TTN side gateway log, like this one of my gateways:

Negative. I don’t have that kind of log. It’s blank, like ‘waiting for live updates’ but has disconnected status.

Good morning,

Well, a gateway connection is a very simple process, but problems can happen. Most of them are very simple do fix:

  1. Gateway EUI must to be the same in both sides, gateway and LoRa network server (TTN);
  2. The frequency plan must to be the same in both sides, in my case Brazil are using Australian standard AU915 and I am using subband 1: AU_915_928_FSB_1 . You will need to configure the authorized frequency and sub-band for your location
  3. Gateway Server Address must to be the same in both sides, in my case: eu1.cloud.thethings.network

I know that this kind information is a little bit technical, but all of them are inside of a LoRa-Alliance document called Regional Parameters this is the version 1.0.3: Regional Parameters 1.0.3

Take a look in one of my gateways configuration:

This is a great help. Channel plan might be the issue here.
I’m at the Philippines, 902 928 is what I’m using currently.

Will update.

I am in the Philippines as well and the LoRaWAN region should be AS923-3, which is listed in TTN as Asia 920-923 MHz (AS923 Group 3).

I am using this with all my devices, gateways and LoRaWAN servers (I prefer Chirpstack in a local installation).
