Ground 5.8 dBi Fiberglass antenna?

Hi, I ordered a 5.8 dBi Fiberglass antenna but found the instruction (online) is too simple. For the installation, it only gives a sketch. Not details. My most serious concern is safety. The instruction doesn’t include ground. So my question is, how to ground this antenna, or it doesn’t need any ground at all? Thanks for your help! – HZ

Hello @hjzeng01 and welcome to the forum.

The antenna does not require to be grounded.

But to protect your device from lighting, you can use a Lightning arrestor and a Grounding Wire to ground the arrestor.
