What is the hardware difference between 4630(H) and 4630(L) ?
Is it possible to use the H version in a 433 project ?

The difference is in the RF path matching.
RAK4630(H) RF path is optimized for frequencies between 800 and 900 MHz.
RAK4630(L) RF path is optimized for frequencies around 400MHz.
You can use the RAK4630(H) version for 433 MHz, but the signal quality will be quite bad.
