How interesting would it be to have the same chip that defaults to LoRa P2P and UART, but still has LoRaWAN if needed?

Our RAK811 LoRa chip is AT-command driven, and while it can do both LoRaWAN and LoRa P2P, it defaults to LoRaWAN and AT commands. How interesting would it be to the community to have a similar chip that defaults to LoRa P2P and UART? ie, plug it in and start P2P comms right away.

    1. LoRaWAN First, but ok
    1. Why bother?
