Hi, i successfully connected my PC with my RAK7268V2 gateway, by means of a normal LAN cable. I have enabled LAN on gateway configuration, and the gateway has a static IP = 192.168.230.1.
I set a static IP in my PC in the same subnet and all works fine.
I want to disable the gateway to act a DHCP Server, but I don’t find a switch Enable/Disable in gateway configuration. How can I disable the DHCP Server ?
Network → WAN → Settings → interface → Static address → IPv4 address setting
The other option will be to Enable the LAN and disable the WAN interface - WisGate OS 2 User Manual | RAKwireless Documentation Center
thank you velev, as I said had already enabled LAN, nonetheless I did not find a way to disable DHCP server.
I also read the WisGate OS 2 User Manual, same result
Hi song, thank you for your suggest.
I do not have the route you suggest in my gateway (Wis Gate OS 2.1.4).
However I have a similar route in Network → LAN → DHCP Server → Settings
How should I change the IPv4 address setting in order to obtain DHCP Server DISABLED ?
Currently I have address = 192.168.230.1, netmask = 255.255.255.0
Note that these values are what I need, in order to connect my PC in this same subnet
