If I wanted to transmit lte data when helium network isn't avaible in the area

I have a kit that came with an lte antenna and was wondering about a way to know if there is a way to send the data over lte if the helium coverage isn’t available in the area on the rak 4631. I saw that there is also this 5860 module but am curious if there is any code built to detect when it the lorawan gateways are out of range

RAK5860 works in LTE-M and NB-IoT network. If the service is available in your location, you should be able to use it. But you must have the server that should receive the data. Helium only works in LoRaWAN.

There is no way to know if you are within a range of a gateway unless you have a downlink message via confirmed message or linkcheck.
