Hello everyone, I would like to ask how to fix a problem that is happening to me on the RAK7268C-113 Gateway. When I try to insert a file into it it always refuses and displays the following message:
“read only file system”.
How to solve this problem?

You can not insert files in the system because it is read-only, this is done that way because we have limited memory and that is why you can not upload files on it. What is the exact use case that you want to realize?

I would like to insert 2 files to run the Watchdog timer on the Gateway. In other gateways of the same model it is possible to insert these files normally, I am only having problems with one in specific.
You can either use SCP or Vim (copy/paste).
You shouldn’t have problems with the specific model as it has the same firmware for all the WisGate Edge.

I tried a few times using the SCP command and the VI command, but whenever I try it displays the message “read only file system” and only on that specific gateway. In others I use the commands mentioned and it works normally, but in this one I can’t, is there anything I can do to be able to insert the files?

Is this V1 or V2?
Try to factory restore(hold the reset button for 10 seconds).
You can also update to the latest version if you have an older one.

Thanks @Nikola , now that I applied a factory restore to the gateway it allowed the insertion of files. Thank you soo much!!
To update to this newer version, is there any tutorial on how to do it? This gateway is V1
