What are your BG77 configuration settings on your working board?
The settings that may be relevant are:
- Serial interface (pictured below)
- QCFG
- QURCCFG

Here’s my QURCCFG,
I tried AT+QURCCFG="urcport","usbmodem". It replied OK but still no USB modem detected.
My firmware is also BG77LAR02A04.
After you change QURCCFG to ‘usbmodem’, do you still have serial comms?
This is the same problem you experienced here right? You never got it resolved?

Yes. I still got Serial comms as you see I sent AT+QURCCFG=? in the screenshot.
The quectel inquiry I have wasn’t solved. The board I got with issues is still in prototype so I didn’t push the inquiry in quectel forum.
We have a huge customer in US that uses RAK5860 and got no issues like this. They are deep into Quectel modules.
