Issue: opkg update Failed

Setup:
root@RAK7249:/etc/opkg# cat /proc/version
Linux version 3.18.45 (xuyutao@compileserver-Vostro-3668) (gcc version 4.8.3 (OpenWrt/Linaro GCC 4.8-2014.04 r158) ) #1 Fri Mar 13 16:41:24 CST 2020

I’m using the last version of the RAK firmware download here today https://downloads.rakwireless.com/LoRa/DIY-Gateway-RAK7249/Firmware/

I’m trying to install some new packages with opkg. But base address seems to be undefined

root@RAK7249:/proc# opkg update
Downloading /base/Packages.gz.
wget: bad address ‘’
Downloading /base/Packages.sig.
wget: bad address ‘’
Signature check failed.

I think /etc/opkg/distfeeds.conf are not defined.
Which openWRT arch did you use for your image building ?
MAy be you could put opkg defintion by default in your image.
