Hi so i bought this Rak12029 sensor for a metal detection application.
My goal is to know if there are cars on top of the sensor, for a parking lot solution.
I’m not really understanding the values that it outputs, or is this sensor not fit for this solution at all?

I had a quick look on this and I cannot really say if it will work or not. It is best to check with Texas Instrument.
However, in theory/principle, it should be able to detect cars. The principle of this sensor is using resonance of L and C. The coil on the sensors surely needs to be change because it is so small which means it has small detection range too.
