Hi so i bought this Rak12029 sensor for a metal detection application.
My goal is to know if there are cars on top of the sensor, for a parking lot solution.
I’m not really understanding the values that it outputs, or is this sensor not fit for this solution at all?

I had a quick look on this and I cannot really say if it will work or not. It is best to check with Texas Instrument.
However, in theory/principle, it should be able to detect cars. The principle of this sensor is using resonance of L and C. The coil on the sensors surely needs to be change because it is so small which means it has small detection range too.

So I went and read some things, and I don’t think that for my application this sensor will work, changing the coil for what I saw, as you said is possible, but puting a bigger one isn’t an option, so I choose another sensor to use, I will try to use a JSN-SR04T I will just need to find out, how to put it together with a rak19007 board.
