Problems with transmit on wis block mini repeater 4631

Just purchased a Wismesh Repeater mini. I accidentally downloaded the WisMesh repeater firmware and flashed it. When I realized the mistake, I refreshed with 4631 firmware.

I’m having problems where I can hear other nodes in the network, but the transmit doesn’t seem to be getting out or working. I have other mesh equipment (T1000e) that is working fine and is able to send and receive messages.

I’m wondering, if I flashed with the wrong firmware, could that have messed up the transmit? I did try 2.6.11 and 2.7.15 firmware. I also tried flashing with the nf2_erase.uf2, then refreshing.

Nothing seems to help. I can hear nodes on the network, and using another radio that I have, I do “hear” that it is transmitting, but no one is picking up my signal. If I try to go between my two devices, that works, so I’m wondering if maybe I got a unit with a bad transmitter that isn’t putting out full power? I did try another antenna, that didn’t work any differently either.

Hi @shmget ,

You can send me the DEVEUI so I can confirm TX power logs from our factory.

I also see this issue with a different customer before but flash erase and reuploading fresh FW fixed his issue.

I think what I’ve found out after more testing is that it probably is working correctly, but there may be less nodes or something changed in my area, as other devices were having a difficult time getting out as well. Might be good to check the logs if you can.

My DEVEUI is 18173fb8
