Rak 7268 to TTN

Hello everyone.

I’m having problems with my Rak Wisgate Edge Gateway version 1 connecting it to The things network. I have followed the basic documentation from the RAK’s official website. I am in the Philippines, I have tried using AS923-3 and US902-928 for the frequency band and nothing works, it still displays as disconnected in TTN.

Also, I have set the gateway to Basics Station since the set up would be sensor/s data will be sent to the gateway then to TTN then application server (Blynk).

I will be attaching some pictures for the configurations I have done.

Thank you for anyone that would be helping.

Hi @oti

Let’s start by basics. the URI in gw I think is wrong. You use the free TTN version or TTS the business paying service ? If TTN uri should be in form of as1.cloud.thethings.network and as far as I know there is none as1 zone in TTN but au1 !
If you go in your gw ui at Network → Diagnostics and try to ping for example rakwireless.com does it work ?

I thing I am using the free version, but it displays as “The Things Stack Cloud Discovery” and I’ve copied the server address straight from the Gateway server address in TTN dashboard.

Yes, the ping from Diagnostics works.

And also, the LoRa led light on the gw doesn’t light up when being switched to Basics Station. Is this normal and still can receive LoRa packets from modules?

Thank you.
