RAK10701 forced uplink

Hi there,

I am using the RAK10701 field tester. By double-clicking the external button, the forced uplink sends data to the gateway/TTN. I have a few questions regarding this forced uplink:

  1. what is the data transmitted by the forced uplink?
  2. is it possible to send custom data by the forced uplink?

The payload is always the same, whether you use the interval driven uplink or the forced uplink.

You cannot change the payload, or the required backend will not work anymore. It will not send back an downlink to the RAK10701 anymore.

RAK10701 application is open source ==> RAK10701-Field-Tester.

you can change the payload, but then you have to develop your own backend to analyze the data and create a downlink.
