RAK11720 interrupts

New to RAK’s LoRa modules, so my question is fairly simple;

Can the RAK11720 breakout board be used to handle frequent interrupts from an anemometer (possibly 15-40 milliseconds apart) whilst running the LoRaWAN stack and sending data a regular intervals? Or, should I have interrupts handled by an external MCU and use the RAK11720 to send the data?
Thanks in advance.

It depends what you do in your interrupts.
If you just count the pulses and have a separate function that collects the pulses for creating the wind speed, it should be possible.
Everything else will most likely fail.
