hi I’m using a RAK4631 on a 19003 base. Arduino IDE. I have a custom I2C device connected to the J6 header. Sometimes my code works, and sometimes it hangs in the I2C comms. It is strange. I wonder if i’m trying to take too much power from the VDD pin on J6? This sensor can draw up to 86mA.
VDD pin is the 3.3V output from the voltage regulator on the RAK19003.
This regulator can supply up to 600mA, of course only if the external supply can support that.
And of course the 3.3V is shared with the Core module and other modules you are using on the RAK19003.
How are you powering the RAK19003?
Ok thanks for the info. After reading your reply I took a closer look at the connections. The problem was a bad solder joint by me!
