Hello guys, I’m not getting any luck with rack wisblock.
My first board I just fried because of wrong battery polarity. So, I ordered another 19007 and reassemble.
Every thing went well for about 2 days and the board died!
I can see that one resistor is becoming extremely hot.
When I plug the usb chord I got one green light flash and another fixed red.
Any suggestions?
Thx

Welcome to the forum @Linuk3s
What battery type are you using?
How is the battery connected?

This is a 800 mah battery and they are connected though the battery stj conector straight to the board
It is heating up and won’t starting the device even if I unplug the battery and try to run only by the usb cable.

Is this a rechargeable Li-Ion battery?
The part you say is getting hot is a capacitor on the supply voltage for the Core module and the IO/Sensor modules. Could there be a short between the battery cable and the Base Board anywhere?

Yes. It is a rechargeable battery.
I will try to figure it out. I will disassemble everything.
By the way, is it possible that it has fried again?

I’ve disassembled everything and it still getting hot.
I tested without the core and it won’t get hot.

Looks like somehow you fried the Core module.
Do you have another WisBlock Base Board to test the Core module?

No, I don’t have any. Is it possible to test only the core?

No, there is no easy possibility to test the core module without a Base Board.

Is it safe to test in a new base board? Or it can fry the new base board as well?

Difficult to say. not sure what got damaged. Could be the core itself or the voltage regulator on the Base Board.
