RAK2171 on The Things Network - Correct Parameters

I want to use the RAK2171 with The Things Network (TTN). While registering a device there, I’m asked a few questions about the device which I’m unable to find the answers for:

Frequency Plans: I have chosen EU868 while configuring the tracker, TTN offers me:

  • Europe 863-870 MHz (SF12 for RX2)
  • Europe 863-870 MHz (SF9 for RX2 - recommended)
  • Europe 863-870 MHz, 6 channels for roaming (Draft)

Which one is correct?

LoRaWAN Version: Here I’m offered the values 1.0.0,1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3, 1.0.4 and 1.1.0. Which one is the correct one for the tracker?

Regional Parameters (PHY): Here I’m offered multiple choices, it’s unclear which one is the correct one.

Unfortunately these parameters doesn’t seem to be documented at RAK2171 WisNode TrackIt | RAKwireless Documentation Center. Once I got them, I’m happy to document it.

Hi @tobru , The frequency plan should be the recommended one

  • Europe 863-870 MHz (SF9 for RX2 - recommended)

The LoRaWAN version is 1.0.3
You will not be asked for the Reginal parameters when the 1.0.3 LoRaWAN version is selected.

We will add the TrackIt to the TTS Device Repository soon.
