I’m trying to Create a TheThingsStack Server from IO.Box, but I can’t get it to create. The only thing I can think of is perhaps using the incorrect server address. I’m in AU, so using au1.cloud.thethings.network, could I get some advice on the port to use? I’ve tried 8884 & 1884 to no avail. I have set up my user ID and API Key as per the instructions, but simply won’t make the connection.
Thoughts?
Hi Andy,
Can you please share the settings you have and the toast message showing the error? Also, what version of IO.box are you using?
Sure thing, apologies for the lack of information. Was initially using an old version, now on V2.1.3-f7556ec.
Lorawan settings are all good, and I have Data Collection Period set to 60 (sec?)
I have configured the RS485. I’m confident in the Poll Task as the Read Request matches the one previously on the motor connected with a RAK 7431.
Using the following settings to connect to TTN
And get the following error…

I then went into the application on the ttn and created the device manually, with class C settings and pasted the uplink and downlink Scripts into the application.
So then I disconnect the device from the usb configuration cable, reboot. I see the device connect to the ttn just fine, then nothing. I assume it would send an uplink every 60 seconds, but there is nothing whatsoever.
I have hundreds of Class A devices working fine through the gateways, this is my first attempt at a class C.
I can’t find any firmware upgrades for the 2470 in the RAK firmware section of the website.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
