RAK3172 + Current consumption

Hi,

a. We are using RAK3172 (Battery powered) along with few of other peripherals.
Here we wish to understand as power source is a DC not an AC, then in this case do we have to use decoupling capacitors?

b. Also we wish to understand that what are recommended hardware connections (recommended schematic) in order to have lowest current consumption.

Please guide.

Hi Dinesh,

a) Yes, it is recommended to have decoupling capacitors close to the stamp module. See recommended values in the recommend schematic

b) Our minimum recommended schematic for the RAK3172 is in our Documentation Center
