RAK3172 - Detecting Baud Rate - Does not download after reflash

RAK3172 details:

Using Arduino IDE to download. While making mods in code, I ended up having the issue “detecting baud rate” and then it does not download.
I downloaded the firmware available in downloads section using STM32Cube Programmer (with the intention of reset everything).
I was successfully able to download it / reflash it.
But still can’t download “any” code from Arduino IDE.
Any other way to do a hard reset?
When I connect my board to serial output in Arduino IDE, and press reset, I get the above output.
Appreciate the help in bring it back to life if we can. Controller is bricked?

Hi @omerattiqahmed ,

You are using a non-compatible RUI3 FW.

Reupload again using STM32CubeProgrammer with this FW.

Thanks @carlrowan. I’ll give it a try.
Just another quick one and I keep forgetting this point.
In Arduino IDE, under board selection for RAK3172. I only get two choices,
1 - RAK 3172 Evaluation Board
2 - RA3172-T
I assume we need to use the evaluation board one?. Thanks.

If you got the standard RAK3172 (not the RAK3172-T), correct. Select the Evaluation Board.
