RAK4270 32.765 kHz Clock Very Inaccurate in Low Temperatures

Hi, I have been testing the RAK4270 in low temperature and noticed that the 32.765 kHz LSE oscillator becomes horribly inaccurate at low temperatures. Below -10C, it is so bad that it cannot join or receive downlinks. Also, if I put the MCU into low power mode, it will not come out of low power mode anymore because this clock will not reinitialize.

I see on the schematic that the load capacitors on the crystal are not populated. Could this be the problem? Has anyone else had this problem?

I should mention that I am writing my own application firmware based on GitHub - Lora-net/LoRaMac-node: Reference implementation and documentation of a LoRa network node..

Thanks.
