I discovered from the ping-pong example that the 4630 has a board id.
Looking at the values they appear to be completely random.
Are they unique? Or is there a small chance there could be duplicates?

It is taken from the FICR — Factory information configuration registers.
According to the nRF52840 datasheet it is a unique device identifier
