RAK4630 (stamp) reference implementation

Hi,

I’ve been looking at the documentation for the RAK460 stamp module.
The documentation shows two parts, but i believe i should just be looking at the right hand side. Is that correct? Most of the times, i do expect some capcitors on the input voltage, but it doesn’t have any - is that correct?
I’m also wondering about the reset, because in the RAK4631 implementation there’s some schema around it (but no switch).

So - is there a reference schema for just using the RAK4630?

Inside the RAK4630 are two main components, the nRF52840 MCU and the SX1262 LoRa transceiver. The page you linked to is showing the MCU and the pinout of the WisDuo module. The transceiver is on the second page.

WisDuo modules do have minimum required external components inside around the MCU and the LoRa transceiver, as they are used in many different scenarios, you might have to add additional required components like capacitors as required by your specific application and PCB. What is required can be found in the Nordic nRF52 documentation.

You can use the Hardware Setup from the Quick Start Guide as a start to design your own PCB.

The RAK4631 is ONE possible usage of the WisDuo RAK4630 stamp module as a WisBlock Core module and you can use the schematic as a start for your custom PCB design. But there are parts that you will most likely not need and there might be parts that you have to add.
