RAK4631 for JLink

Good morining,

Soon I will have to mount some RAK4631 and they will execute a merged (MCUBoot + Zephyr). To load the MCUBoot, I will have to work with JLink, but now, after to verify all connections and pin map, nothing is working.

I would link to know if RAKWireless has plans to make a “RAK4631-J” to be able to connect it in a easier way than with o process to sold a bar pin to connect the nRF52840 to JLink?

Regards,

Claudio

No plans, and I did not solder a pin header to any of my RAk4631’s. I am using a clip to connect to the SWD interface:

Did you buy it? Where?

I got it from our Chinese R&D team.
I found it as well on Amazon Dykbkiss 1.27mm 5P JTAG Fixture Probe

AliExpress, similar type ==> https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005520052021.html

Low cost DIY ==> https://www.instructables.com/Pogo-Pin-Programming-Connector/

Thank you, I found the in the Amazon and Aliexpress.

The nRF52840-DK has the JLink-OB (onboard) it is easier to test :slight_smile:

@beegee ,

Thank you by your tip, my clip is ready to work :slight_smile:

Now the JLink is reading the Flash memory. It was a bad contact in the SWDCLK. The problem was some factors working together: My first time with Zephyr plus the JLink first time, and so one …

I already did a code with MCUBoot+Zephyr with two partitions for application 1 and application 2.

I am very happy now, because now I can do my codes. Have a nice week.

Claudio
