RAK4631(L) technical and legal question

Can the RAK4631(L) be operated in the 450-470 MHz with only the addition of a properly matched (Low SWR) antenna, no other hardware modifications needed? Is it legal to operate as a Meshtastic node within the US using the 12.5 kHz bandwidth limitation of the Part90 (Land Mobile Radio) band?

Welcome to the forum @TGW

(1) There are two versions of the RAK4631(L). One is tuned for EU433 (433MHz), the other one is tuned for CN470 (470MHz). The second one should work.

(2) The RAK4631(L) does not have FCC certification.

Thank you for the rapid response!

(1) What is the low side of frequency capability of the CN470 board?
(2) Have you considered this band of frequencies for US operation?
Could be extremely useful for telemetry operations in FCC
Part90 configurations!
(3) But the 4631(H) units do have FCC cert and are capable of 902-
915 MHz, correct?

(1) 470-510 MHz
(2) no, not considered
(3) correct, but not applicable for 470Mhz.

Thank you very much for your time and cooperation in this matter!
