RAK5005 Solar and Battery Charging

Hi, Can someone let me know if the RAK5005 has any Li-Po battery protection or should I use an external power and solar control board like the dfrobot solar manager board (https://www.dfrobot.com/product-1712.html) Thanks Kevin

There is no battery protection in the power tree of the RAK5005-O:
