This is valid for both Base Boards.
It might work on the older RAK5005-O without battery, but you cannot rely on it. It might fail at any time.
Reason is the high current consumption of the cellular chip. There might be a brown-out at any time and the Quectel chip is shutting down or malfunction. Specially while it tries to connect to a cellular network.
Hello, I am using a rak19007 with a rak4631, adding a rak12500 and a rak5860. I have connected a charged battery, but I am still unable to receive a response to an AT command. Are the rak12500 and rak5860 compatible on the same board?
RAK5860 and RAK12500 are compatible, but you cannot use the RAK12500 in Slot A. In Slot A there is a GPIO conflict.
You need to place the RAK12500 in Slot D.
