RAK7201 4 Buttons remote end of life?

Curious to know since when RAK7201 4 buttons remote V1 is no more sold by RakWireless ? I bought one from a retailer here in Europe and I received a V1 instead of a V2.

I can’t remember official EOL date but it can be around 2024. I can trace back internal discussion with the team on the RUI3 based FW of RAK7201V2 late 2023.

Since RAK4270 was EOL which is the module used on RAK7201V1, it had to be replaced by RAK3172 on RAK7201V2.

PS I had a look on your another post. If it replies to AT+VER=? you already have V2.

ah thanks for confirmation so yeah retailer had a very old stock (I’m not concerned about the device as whatever v1 or v2 it works as well) but I expect the battery to be in quite bad conditions after so long in some warehouse.
