I have rak7249 sending data over cellular as of now.
I would like to know what happens if the cellular connectivity is not available for 6 hours ?
will the packets get buffered and be re-sync (in the correct order) when the network comes online ?
will all the packets get dropped ?
how can we manage the gateway over cellular, like reboot and firmware upgrade, etc ?
Hi. If the packet logging functionality is turn on and there is a SD card, yes the packets will be stored and sent when the connection is available. You can manage the Gateway via VPN client. It is a bit tricky when is used cellular. We are preparing a tutorial for this, will be published soon.
will they be synced in the correct order ?
Yes, they will be synced by time of arrival.
