Rak7258 is not sending downlink messages to end device

Issue:rak7258 is not sending downlink messages to end device

Setup: Rak7258 gateway+ rak3172

LoRa® Server: chirpstack

I have a RAK7258 connected to a chirpstack. It receives uplink messages receives it simply., but when sending downlink messages, it reads the RAK7258 from chirpstack but does not send it to the end device.(rak3172)

I have mine configured as “packet forwarder”, yours?

Is the problem in End Device not receiving downlink messages?

How do you test downlink, from Chirpstack?
Can you in that case see it the downlink que?

This is what I want an answer to.
How can I read the downlink, knowing that the gateway reads it but does not direct it to the end device?

Not an expert on debugging this, but Iv started my testing from the “Queue” section in Chirpstack.

You can see the queue going from pending “no” to “yes” and the disaper after successful downlink transmission (you might need to refresh page to see changes).

In gateway “packet capture”, you should see a type (arrow down) for downlink
