RAK7258 LTE with Wan Interface Fixed IP Issue

Hi,

Anyone with the same problem ?

Here are the settings:

LoRaWan mode : Packet Forwarder
Protocol : MQTT Protobuf
MQTT Broker address : my_broker_address (outside my network)

WAN interface
Static Adress : 192.168.1.182
IP Mask : 255.255.255.0
Gateway : 192.168.1.254
DNS : 8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

LTE : Enabled

Problem:

if I start the gateway with sim card and no ethernet : All good in LTE
if I start the gateway with ethernet and no sim card : All good in ETH
if I start the gateway with ethernet and sim card : No communication to the broker at all (LTE and ETH)

but
if I setup Wan interface to DHCP : all good in any case (LTE and ETH)
same
if I setup the Ip Address of my broker rather than the DNS name

Any idea ?

What is the firmware version of the RAK7258?
If less than the latest please update.

Hi Nikolai,
was using 1.2.0066_Release r213
I did update to Firmware Version 1.0.2_RAK rRAK-3940b904c

Result looks even worst.

Start Gateway

Broker Address WAN Sim ETH Result
IPV4 DHCP N Y Ok
IPV4 DHCP Y N Ok
IPV4 DHCP Y Y No COMM at all to the broker
or sometimes 1 message sent and then nothing anymore
