Rak7268 does not publish data to mqtt

Hi I have followed the: Use the MQTT Broker Like a Pro + Examples | RAKwireless Documentation Center and I do not get anything in the mqtt. I have tried with the internal and external mqtt.
I can publish and subscribe to the topics using cli or mqtt.fx tool but nothing comes through from the gateway. I see the uplinks in the lorawan packet logger but nothing in mqtt.
Perhaps part of the problem is that I am not sure how to setup the application part.
I want to create an application which accepts any uplink and publishes it to the mqtt. How would I do that? Appreciate any update. This is all new to me so please be patient

Hi Robert Same issue here. Did you managed MQTT setup?
Rg Frank

I had the same problem and think I worked at least my issue. mqtt topics are case sensitive. If you take the device eui from the RAK console, it contains characters. Eg 24E124141E360789 is shown on the screen. This is a bug imo because it is 24e124141e360789. When trying to subscribe to the mqtt topic you must use the case-correct version. I discovered this by using wildcards

/application/{myappname}/device/+/+

and realised later it should have been

/application/mysensors/device/24e124141e360789/rx

not

/application/mysensors/device/24E124141E360789/rx
