I wanted to know the max number of end devices that can be added to a gateway, and still have it function properly. To be clear, I do not mean the number of devices that can be communicating simultaneously. Just the number of devices that can be added through the UI (and added to /etc/dbm/lorasrv.db) so that they would have the possibility of communicating with the gateway.
So far, I have added 500 and 1,000 devices and that seemed to work fine.
Is there a theoretical limit?
