My company bought a RAK7289CV2 Gateway and we havent been able to connect it to the TTN server.
I followed the manuals where they explain the configuration in both the gateway and the TTN gateway configuration page, but we havent been successfull.
On the RAK7289CV2 I have the following configurations:
Frequency Band: 868 MHz
Location: Portugal
Work mode: Packet forwarder
Server address on the UDP Protocol parameters: eu1.cloud.thethings.network
Ports: 1700 both ways
EUI: AC1F09FFFE1061XX
Its connected to the interned via DHCP Client.
On the TTN gateway configuration i have:
EUI: AC1F09FFFE1061XX
Frequency plan: Europe 863-870 MHz (SF9 for RX2 - recommended)
Gateway Server Address: eu1.cloud.thethings.network
I still cant seem to be able to receive any sort of data on the TTN gateway, not even the GPS positions even tho on the logs from the Gateway, i can see the GPS positions.
Any help would be appreciated (i have close to no experience on this topic so bear with me and my questions).
Ok, the problem is not that.
Do you see the gateway as Online in the status tab?
The GPS is for synchronization, TTN is not able to use that location.
Do you have a LoRaWAN device running so you can see some packets in TTN?
Sorry for only answering now, but i had a bit of some problems.
Anyways.
I dont have yet a device running to see the packets in TTN, i thought that only having the gateway configured, at least i would be able to see some sort of communication with the TTN server or at least the “connected” status.
