I encounter a strange issue with a RAK7201 4 buttons remote (probably v1 but not sure). It worked during years and suddenly from day to an other when you push a button it blinks red as if it was unable to get an ACK from LoRa network.
When I connect in terminal on it through usb port, only AT command that works is the at+ver=? and it answers that:
AT+VER=RUI_3.5.2+user
How is that possible ? As far as I know these remotes are not RUI based but custom closed fw from rak. All the more whatever v1 or v2 these remotes don’t have a v3 firmware.
Anyone else got that issue ? should I try to reflash fw in it ? and so which one ? the one of V1 remote or V2 one ?

Based on the AT command, you already have a V2.
The list of commands that should work would be the AT commands list for RAK7201 - RAK7201V2 WisNode Button 4K At Command Manual
That’s very strange because it’s what I expected at first but none commands from V2 are working on it. I’ll try a reset on it and see if it goes better. I’ll let you know.

After a reset it works back again, probably something locked in it
