Screw down connector pcb design

Hi everyone, I am wanting to get a pcb made for the Wisblock enclosure. I want to make pins available as screw down connectors. I was hoping there may be some way to connect vbat, 3.3v and ground directly from the baseboard through a ribbon or similar without having to solder the header pins and use dupont connectors to get to the pcb. Similar to the RAK5804 Interface Extension Board. I can’t use the RAK5804 solely for this purpose, as I will be building other sensors that require the IO slot (the RAK5801 for example, for pressure transducers).
Any thoughts or potential workarounds would be most welcome!

Hi @Andy
You could use the pin headers J10, J11 and J12. => RAK5005-O WisBlock Base Board Datasheet | RAKwireless Documentation Center

They give you access to 3.3V, GND, VBat and some other signals.

Yeah thanks @beegee, is there a more robust header pin type that could be soldered here rather than the standard dupont type? I was looking for something with a “click” connection, so it couldn’t be simply pulled apart easily.

Amphenol with friction lock
TE Connectivity with clip

I didn’t try either of them. You have to check if they are blocking Slot B.
