Solar panel - RAK19007 WisBlock de 2.ª generación

Hello,

I want to make a gas monitoring sensor with an MQ2 sensor. This type of sensor consumes a lot of energy since the sensor must heat up to correctly sense LPG gas in the environment.

Can I connect a 110 AC to 5V DC 1 amp transformer to the solar panel input?

The idea is that it has its battery in case there is no power, the lithium battery should remain operational for a minimum of 8 hours until the power is restored.

reading datashet does not indicate the mA it supports.

I look forward to your comments or advice.

You can connect a 5V 1A wall plug to the solar panel connector without any problems. The regulator will draw only as much current as the WisBlock Core and WisBlock modules are demanding with an upper limit of 600mA.
