@beegee We have pulled out the bits we need form the example for determining the current battery voltage (is there any way to determine the amperage?), which works fine, however rooting around I cannot find how I might obtain the same kind of information (voltage/amperage) from the solar panel connector.
Is there a means for us to do this? I cannot find which pins the solar connector relates to.

For the battery, you can only read the voltage, there is no hardware on the board to measure the current.
For the solar panel, it is not possible to read the voltage or the current. The input from the solar panel connector goes only to the charger chip.
