Starter Kit not communicating to another

Hi All,

  • What product do you wish to discuss? 2 x RAK4631 starter kits

I have two starter kits and have updated them to Meshtastic 2.5.13.1a06f88
They are joined to the same network as several other T-Beams’s they are all running 2.5.7
I have the RAK4631’s connected to two separate android phones.

ISSUE:

  • I can send messages from the T-Beams to the same network and the RAK4631’s will receive them
  • I can send messages from the RAK4631’s to the same network and the T-Beams will receive them
  • But the RAK4631’s will not receive messages from each other.

Looking for any pointers on how to resolve this.

Are the T-Beams and two RAK4631 on the same network and same settings (all long fast)? If yes, how far are they with each other? If RAK4631 is very close to one another (same table), maybe you can separate them for few meters and try again?

Hi Carl,
I took a step back,.
I resettled to factory defaults, re-flashed and readded the rak’s. Now they are communicating correctly.
