Hi RAK team,
We’re building a LoRaWAN deployment using RAK11722 + RAK19007 and need TS011 relay devices to extend coverage in areas with poor line-of-sight to gateways.
We’ve confirmed that LoRa Basics Modem (SWL2001) supports relay Rx on SX1262 with AU915, and the Apollo3 is clearly capable hardware. However RUI3 doesn’t currently expose TS011 relay functionality.
A few questions:
- Is TS011 relay support planned for RUI3 on RAK11722/RAK11720?
- If so, is there a rough timeline?
- Is there an alternative approach using existing RUI3 APIs (CAD scanning etc) that could approximate relay behaviour without a full LBM port?
We’re committed to the RAK11722 platform and ideally want to use the same hardware for both end-device and relay roles. Any guidance on timeline or alternative approaches would be greatly appreciated.
