It is suggested that you use P2P mode to test whether the receiving function of the node is normal. Meanwhile, send confirmation packet in ABP mode to see whether it can be sent and received normally.
The 3v3 output on a USB serial adapter isn’t really meant to power other things.
It’s more about stealing power from the USB conversion chip’s on-chip supply.
It varies a little by brand though.

I have resolved the issue. I compared with a RAK811 and that did not work either so I connected another gateway that uses a RPi and your RAK831 connected to TTN and that joining worked. It seems my ursalink gateway is not working as it should. Thanks for your prompt replies!
