US frequency 915 to India

Hi,

I have a question regarding the Frequency. I have a friend who is coming to India from Canada and he is bringing 2 Helium based Antennas from. RAK. One 5.8 dBi and the other 8 dBi. Both these antennas are set at 915 Frequency. My question is can I use them in India and will it work?

Thanks for the reply. While I was searching online, I found the frequency for India is 865 Mhz. So just wanted to clarify if this 915 Mhz work efficiently in India and what would be the limitations…

Hey @Zombie4eva

hey can be used, however you guessed right they will not be efficient. I might have not been clear. There is no regulation preventing you from using them, but they will not work well, if at all as they are tuned for a different band.
You would need another model, the 863-870MHz variant.
