Where is the documentation, beyone the Quickstart guide for the WisGate Connect Outdoor, model 7391

Sorry for the very basic question but I’m having trouble getting mine up and running.

I’ve found documentation for the 7393 but not the 7391.

I’m having trouble getting to to connect either via wifi or ethernet. I purchased the version with the LTE connection option but I don’t have the sim card yet but I’m assuming it should work with a wifi or ethernet connection.

Also documentation on installing the sim card and the SSD module.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi @DaveAZ,

This is the documentation for RAK7391 - RAK7391 WisGate Connect Quick Start Guide

And what kind of operating system are you using? If RAKPiOS, you can refer to this documentation for managing network configurations such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi and LTE - RAKPiOS Command Line Utility

Also it would help to install the SSD module - RAK7391 WisGate Connect Compatible Hardware

Thank you. I do think it would be useful to have a QuickStart manual and perhaps something more extensive, as well, that is specifically for the packaged project, i.e. This product:
https://store.rakwireless.com/products/wisgate-connect-gateway-outdoors-gateway-focused-on-wireless-connectivity-lorawan-bluetooth-lte-halow

That product comes, I believe, with the firmware installed. So just providing the documentation for getting it up and running would be useful.

It would also be nice if it documented the various reset / reset-to-factory-default functions of the “flash” button and the use of the USB-C port. Also, the use of the FTDI interface pins.

The Quickstart guide you linked seems to assume that disassembling the Gateway and working with the CM4 is necessary. That’s not really helpful as a “Quick Start” guide for the finished product.

I hope this is helpful.

Dave

So to clarify, I didn’t buy a 7391 CM4 unit,

I purchased this:

So I need the QuickStart for the Outdoor Gateway product, not just a quickstart for the CM4 that’s inside it. For example, what slot is the concentrator plugged into? Since it’s a 16 channel version are there concentrators plugged into to of the slots?
Does in have an iinternal GPS?

What are the config parameters I should be using for the PiOS docker container?

Thank. you,
Dave
