I changed the internal rak 2247 from an us915 to eu868 but the software after a reboot is not set to have the 868 template.
Can you provide us with an image of the eu868 version

Not sure what the official answer is but someone asked a similar question about one of the other OpenWRT-based gateways last year: Change RAK2247 in RAK7258
I am working on Ubuntu Linux with the packet forwarder build for that. Is there a mechanism to differentiate the datagram packages of the two gateways? They share the same computer but different usb ports
You’ve posted in a thread about the OpenWRT based RAK7240 outdoor gateway, questions about Ubuntu platforms aren’t really on topic in this thread. Anyway, traffic for different frequency bands would be readily distinguished by the frequency stated in each message.
