Difference between RAK3172(TP) vs RAK3172(TI)

Can someone please explain the difference between: RAK-3172 (TP) vs RAK-3172 (T)? Or maybe there is no any difference?

Hi @Diaver ,

There no difference in terms of hardware and software between the two.

They are both RAK3172 with TCXO inside.

The TP and T only indicates for model that has built-in IPEX connector.

TP - No Ipex
T or TI - With Ipex

1. P or TP - without IPEX connector
2. TI - with IPEX

I am not sure if you are aware but P and TP have very important difference. But of course both has no IPEX.

(P) - generic crystal oscillator
(TP) - uses TXCO

If you operate on extreme temperature, P is not a good choice as it drifts worse. TXCO should give better stability on this cases
